Blooming time

Okay, last weekend, I bought an On. Tsiku Marguerite, and a Den. Iki. Now, my Oncidium has 3 lovely bloom stalks, and will bloom any day now. But my Dendrobium is not in bloom, but is blooming size. When does Den. Iki typically bloom? Thanks!

I'm not sure about blooming time for the Den. However, my Den. has a flower spike. So I'm assuming about this time of the year.

Is your Den. getting bright sun?

My Dendrobium is in an eastern window.

I have never heard of Den Iki. Could it possibly be Den Isa?

Most dens in Maine will bloom from late spring to early summer. You have a very short growing season for all plants.

Many new hybrids of orchids can bloom year round in a perfect growing season like Hawaii, but even here in Florida it is seldom that I get more than 2 bloomings a year.

In Maine you should expect one blooming late spring to early summer.
