Im trying to save my phal. It's rootless with one leaf.
I only realize it today that, there are tiny dots pop out from the leaf's bottom? That's new roots trying to push out right?
Another thing is there is a new tiny leaf grows out in the middle of the crown? Am I correct?

I thought it was dead, so I just left it sit on top of moist Leca for few weeks then I gave up on this method. I don't want to bag it, it seem troublesome to me.

Instead I tied it on fern slab sitting on spag moss and mist the root daily with fertilizer and the growing started.
If all these are what I think it is , I'm so happy :marchmell

I think you are right. Congratulations, if you keep up the good care you are going to save it.

It grows so fast since I opened this thread.
The roots and leaf plus another tiny leaf growing out now. I don't know what's growing at the bottom of the spagnum moss? I'm gonna just leave it.

My usual routine is daily mist with fertilizer and sometimes rain water. When the weather is too hot and i mist it 3 times a day.

I'm so happy with the result. I can tell this fella is really working so hard to grow. Previously Its growth was stagnant for few weeks to a month in the living room until I finally made changes to put him outside instead. It gets an early morning sun about an hour in a shaded area facing north.

There were moments that I wanted to throw him into the garbage, I'm so glad I didn't.
