Oncidium intergeneric hybrid

Hi geeks, I bought this over the weekend at Lowe’s in the clearance spot. I paid 5$ it looked “tired”. The tag on the plant read “intergeneric hybrid “. First thing to do is cut the flower stalk flowers were dry and crumbling when touched. Next day I repotted the roots looked amazingly good
I gently removed the mushy Sphagnum I repotted with Sphagnum and small bark. How does it look? Did I do good? Thanks for anything you can send my way. Thanks again....B

It does look a bit tired. I guess be careful with watering from now on and it should recover.

I wish the big box stores near me sold other orchids besides Phals, especially on the bargain rack!

You did great! That's a bargain!

I do have a few of these, and thought the shriveled bulb will never puff back, it will produce new growth soon...Just look after it as you would with any Oncidiums...
