New to forum looking for orchid care advice
Hi there,

I have 4 beautiful Phals that I adore. They are all from Walmart and I have been doing my best to care for them with the little knowledge I have. I water them once a week on average, by soaking the roots and medium for 20 minutes. In the peak of summer a little more often and in the middle of winter a little less. I only fert in the spring/summer or until blooms are finished. All of my Phals have grown new stems and blooms in my care, although I have experience some bloom blast (?) from the move. My general concern is that the window they are in currently will get much cooler in the winter, should I move them away from it? They may be warmer but will get less light if I move them. Individually I have concerns about each Phal in the captions of my album. I havent figured out how to get the photos to show up here yet. If you have the time to check out my album in the mean time that would be great. Thank you.

:hello & welcome:

If your phals are blooming and growing new roots and leaves your plant is happy and getting what it needs. On the window feel the leaves. If the leaves feel cold just move them back a little bit. For some reason the phals like the drop in temperature to bloom.

For pictures need to do 5 posts. Only 4 more to go. Can be something like hi, test, etc.

Thank you! I will post photos as soon as I can, I feel like they have been a little neglected since the move and I want to give them each whatever they need to thrive
