My Pahiopedillum

Hi again everyone,
I was hoping someone can tell me what is this growing on my Paph bottom leave? Is this normal?

Ahh OK thank you , I thought mine is not normal because that can't be spike at the bottom. It's Paph Barbatum.
Weird though is this how the growing cycle should be? Roots will keep growing on the last bottom leave?

Thank you Bolero . I'm actually happy enough that it shows some sign of growing at the bottom because it really didn't show me anything else other than growing taller.
