Miltonioips probs??

I'm newer to miltonioips orchids and I'm wondering why this sbulb is turning yellowish and a lil mushy?

I'm in SoCal it in the last few weeks we've had a few pretty hot (mid to high 90s) days in a row. I've kept the soil moist so I'm not sure what happened, can anyone help?

Thank you!

Don't see any picture, but if I had an orchid with a off colored squishy pseudobulb the first thing I'd be doing is getting out a knife and cutting it off/out. You don't want disease to spread to other bulbs/rest of the plant. The cut area/spot can be dusted with cinnamon as a further assist in the process......
