Yes, thanks! I plan to put it in my south window, and I have additional light as well. I love the A. magdalenae flower, I may have to get a grown up one as my little seedling will take several years to bloom! I will definately post pics when my scottianum arrives, should be this week!!

    A. magdalenae is my avatar. That particular orchid plant is my favorite one.

Most Angraecoids do not like to have their roots disturbed. I would recoomend keeping it in the same pot unless you notice that the potting medium is breaking down. You are really going to like the bloom on the scottianum. Mine is potted in a medium fir bark mix. It has a spike on it right now. The scottianum can tolerate strong light, but not direct sunlight. Does that make sense?

Which Angraecum is in your avatar? I am very excited to get my scottianum!! Are the roots very sensitive? I thought I read that they really don't like to be repotted? I think I will keep it in the same pot unless you have any other suggestion?
    Thanks for your expertise!

Thanks for the information. I decided to get the scottianum. I will see how that one does before I go with another one. How tall does it get? I understood that it is also a small plant?
    Thanks! April

    Hi,
I am considering getting an Angraecum from Oak Hill. I was looking at the didierii and the scottianum. The didierii is mounted and the scottianum is blooming size. What do you think about these choices. Any advice? Thanks!
