Really. I'm surprised cause they usually bloom in May or June for me. You must have done something it liked for it to send up a spike this late. I do find that the Golden Elf blooms easily. I'm looking forward to seeing this spike. Congrats!!!

I was just looking at the Cymbidiums that you sent me, and one of them is spiking! It is the Cym. Golden Elf 'Sundust'. This is the one that didn't spend 3 weeks in a box, so it is not due to stress. I will post pictures when it opens.

Between the two boxes that came, I have 3 small keikis of the Dend. Kobai. Right now all three have new growths, two of the keikis have multiple growths starting. This little thing is taking off. Thanks again, I post updated photos this next weekend.

Hi Cindy. I also did a bunch of tailoring & home dec for many years. You can always find time for quilting - even just a lap quilt or a decorative wall hanging. April does hers by hand! We've had the pleasure of exchanging pics. I have some beginner quilt books if you're interested.

Yeah you can just pick a flower and send it. The neo pollinia are super tiny, so it would probably be hard for me to find them if they were just floating around in the envelope. How long do you neo/s bloom for? I just got mine a week ago, and it was already in full flower, and the last one is going to be gone tomroow, but it has another spike. I bet you are beautiful evem though you are "round." Ohh yeah, I got some spanish moss today. Would you like some? It is an ephiphitic plant, so I have just hung some right above my humidifier in my greenhouse so it stays nice and moist. I probably need to move it though because it is too wet. I have read that you can't use it for orchids, but I just like the way it looks. Lmartiny sent me some when I posted that I wanted some. How nice, huh? All the plants you have sent me are doing well. I have hung the back bulbs in my tree. How are the onc. sharry baby back bulbs doing? Are they ok still? I hope they grow into nice, big yummy smelly plants for you.

Hey lady-I thank you for the ang. I was totally kidding about you sending me one, but I love it all the same. You have a present in the mail as of tomorrow. (sat). I hear that you have a bean-leaf neo that is blooming. Is there any way you could take a pollinia out of there, stick it in an envelope, and mail it to me? So-about your present-I think you will like it. I hope you do. Oh by the way, I love your pic with your, husband. I think you are a beautiful woman and I hope that is not weird for me to say from one lady to another, but it's true that you are very pretty and you are probably the most generous and kind woman I have ever met. Oh, I need your addy cause I can't find the envelope that the plant was in. Thanks.

Hi Cindy. I saw on another post that you also do quilting work. I've been quilting for about 15 years and enjoy the hobby. I'm presently trying to plan an orchid quilt with some of my friends orchid pictures. Have you done such work before? I've done a few picture transfers. Still in the planning stage.

My mail carrier lied as well. She said that she attempted delivery 3 times at this address and gave dates that no one answered. The problem was that I was at home watching for the mail and even spoke with her one day asking if there was anything else since I was waiting for plants. I think one or two of the cyms will actually make it. Only time will tell. Thanks again.

You are not going to believe what just showed up in the mail! The Dend and one of the Cyms look pretty rough, but the others look like they might be ok. I am going to go to the post office and complain about our carrier. They said they tried to deliver it, but I was here all day when they said they tried. Your packing is top notch for these to look this good after sitting in a box who knows where for the last 3 weeks.
