Finally someone close!!!! I am listening to the weather and I see you guys are getting lots of rain and some flooding...... so sorry and hope you are ok... I am sure all of your plants love the rain. I live in St Kitts and have been growing orchids for 3 years and have about 63 orchids mostly phals , catts and dens as they seem to love the tropics better. I just retutned for vacation in Savannah (the inn at palmetto bluff) and saw some very huge phals on property and brought home 3 with me to add to my collection.

Thank you so much for responding to my friendship call. I developed a keen interest in orchids in February of this year, so I am still fairly new.

I have about 40 orchids; sun vandas, makoras, phals, dendrobiums, ascacendas, cattaleyas. I joined the local orchid society in Jamaica and orchidgeeks.com, in order to learn more about orchids. I am enjoying the experience, however, it is very time consuming. I am a Senior Manager at a Bank in Jamaica and I work very long hours.

I fell in love with your growing space. I am hoping to post some pictures by Wednesday.

Hi Georgia! Thanks for your friendship. I'm sure you will enjoy taking up golfing with your husband. It's lots of fun and usually a relaxing day. I see that you're from Jamaica. Obviously, your growing conditions are much better than mine. What kind of orchid do you grow?
