New growth pics

Since I have only three Masdevallias and they all three have new growth, here's pictures of all of them:

My two outdoor ones together:

The new growth on the herraadurae:

The new growth on the Dean Haas:

The paivaeana with four new growths:

The Haas is not a big plant - it and the paivaeana are both in 3" pots - but next to the herraadurae, they look ginormous!

I'm using a toothpick for skewer in the herraadurae's pot!

Nope - that's a Dean Haas (3" pot) and a herraadurae (1.9" pot). My herraa. isn't far from full size; the leaves max out at 3" long and some are already that big.

The grower told me the paivaeana was really picky about being able to dry out and is lithophytic, and I saw some pictures of wild ones growing on rocks in a manner somewhat similar to have I have this one potted, hence the unusual potting. I have it in 3/4 pumice 1/4 charcoal and I mist the exposed roots often, and it seems to be liking it. It's right next to an open window, so it gets southern light and lots of air, plus it stays cool.
