hello all, i'm new to orchids & look forward to learning from you all

this is Elvina from Emeryville, CA (near San Francisco)
i am pretty new to orchids and just found this forum

right now i have six orchids. one white phal, one psychopsis, and i think the other four are all oncindiums (i think....)

getting into this, i am glad that i am poor and am very picky about which plant to buy, because if not i would have collected so many by now

If you are like the rest of us you will NOT have six for long! :-) Even those of us who do not have a lot of extra change find a way to bring just one more newcomer to the family - again, and again, and again........

I totally agree with Mayres. Somehow I find a way to buy 1...2...or 3 more orchids. As a matter of fact, I just ordered 2 more and will be getting them tomorrow!

It is so true, started off with 2 i bought for mother's day this year up to somewhere about 18. An ebay seller was selling Catts 10 for $18.00, what a bargain. Anyway, the Grocery Outlet in Berkeley had new dens in last Thursday, so I had to buy it. Welcome to my new vice. And thank everyone here at OrchidGeeks for their wisdom and support.
