hello from central florida

Just wanted to introduce myself. Been into orchids for about 4-5 years now, more so in the last two. Started when my sister gave me an orchid she propogated herself in the University of Florida(Go Gators) greenhouse. I was an instant fan. Have made a few of the beginner mistakes but learning as i go. Hope you guys can help. Have one question...How do you know when you have too many orchids? Or is that possible? Thanks, look forward to chatting with you all.....

Nice to meet you... I am learning as I go too. And I keep adding to my collection... just got a Beallara Diana Dunn Newberry and am going to need to find some tips on it.

I am at over 700, and I think I will slow down a little, probably because I am running out of room (8X12GH). The hardest thing for me has been collecting at a rate that makes it hard to get all the culture info I need for all the new plants before another batch comes in. I think I am finally going to skip some of the shows and fairs/open houses in Calif. coming up. Cynthia, Prescott, AZ

I think "others" have too many orchids but of course, "I" don't have enough !!
