Hi, I'm new to the forums (shockingly) and am here for advice because I'm new to orchids and I could really use a hand!

I don't really have that green fingers, but really want this plant to do well. I'm a student until the 11th July when I graduate.

As far as I can tell from the picture guide you have on the site, It's a Phalaenopsis. I was given it as a Christmas present the Christmas just gone.
