| The most important thing is patience. It will be a year or more before it gets to looking good again. Phals usually only grow one to three new leaves a year. As long as you have one or two good leaves, even if they are partially burnt, the plant can survive. I has taken a tremendous shock, so go easier than normal on the water and no fertilizer until you see some new growth. This can take a couple of months to begin. Like I said a lot of patience. And check 'free' advice here next time.

| Hello and welcome to the forum. If you want to bump your number of posts, just reply to this thread a few more times. Then you can follow up with the attachment. Phals are a lower light plant and will do fine outdoors during the summer in North Carolina if in a shaded area. |

| Unfortunately sunburn damage doesn't go away, so the damage to the leaves will stay that way until the phal drops the leaves naturally. But as others have said, even with the sunburn the plant can survive.
