Hello Friends

HI Friends: Received a Noblla Type Dendroblum orchid as a gift. It has several green stems with flowers everywhere. Once the blooming is completed, do I trim off the green stems? How long will it take before they grow and flower again? Thanks, Bob

Hi rwilliams! Good to have you with us! I'm not much help with Dendrobium info, as I'm pretty new to them myself. There are a lot of folks here who grow them. Someone will hop on and help you out soon, I'm sure!

Welcome to the forum Bob! This place is full of geat people that can help you along on your orchid growing journey. I myself do not have that much experience on those either but someone will let you know what to do. I just wanted to say Howdy and welcome!

Hi!

No, you don't trim anything - just feed and water it until fall, and then stop feeding it and give it next to no water. Its leaves will naturally drop. In the early spring you'll start to see it coming back to life - start giving it a normal amount of food and water, and expect blooms in the spring.

There's at least one member who's an encyclopedia of denobrium knowledge - one of them should be along soon to give you more and better information!
