New to this

I just bought some orchids from ebay and am trying to learn more about them. The first one I bought is "Mildred Rives 'Orchidglade' " and I am trying to get together what I need to properly care for it.

Any suggestions? Any ideas on where to find information on this particular plant?

Kris

Hi ngukris
welcome to the forum
We would love to know the names of your orchids as without names or seeing the plants
it makes it very hard to give you Culture Advice.
Also could you please go to your UserCP and Update your Profile with your Location as that will help us to understand your growing conditions as we have members from all over the world with different growing conditions.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

As Fred stated, we would need the full name of the plant in order to give accurate advice. With that said, I did a few google searches and believe your plant to be in the Cattleya Alliance.

****Please verify before following cultural advice*****

I think the full name would be - Lc. Mildred Rives 'Orchidglade'
The Lc. is the genera which stands for Laeliocattleya. This would be a hybrid of the Cattleya and Laelia.

Here are the culture sheets.

Again, please verify the full name before following these care sheets. Good luck. We would love to see pictures of it.

Hi and welcome to the forum Kris. You have a Laeliocattleya which requires the same
culture as a Cattleya. You can download a sheet with the proper care for Cattleyas'.
Here is a link with a pic of your orchid.
