Just a quick note to say hello, or "Hey y'all" as we say here in Tennessee! I'm enjoying searching through this site for answers to my questions, as I'm relatively new to orchid growing and care. I'm also enjoying looking through the pics of all of your orchids. The variety and colors are just astounding!

Currently I have a Phal. Brother Golden Wish that is in spike and bud with 1 main spike and 3 branches; a "generic" dendrobium I rescued from the Clearance tray at the "Big Box" store - hasn't bloomed yet, but looking much healthier than when I got it, and another dendrobium that a friend got from a florist shop. She tried to divide off a new shoot for me and somehow I ended up with the baby and a very tall pseudobulb from the main plant. We'll see how these 2 end up doing as I progress in knowledge and experience. You know, they say that experience is what you get when things don't go the way you wanted them to. So we shall see. I just received a Lc. Schilleriana for my birthday (I always buy myself a birthday gift) and it has 5 buds on it! All 5 survived the shipping so I'm excited to watch it bloom and see if I can give it the environment it needs to continue to grow and be happy. Photos shortly.
