Nice to meet you (digitally communicating, that is!). I've bought orchids from growers in Hawaii a few times. Usually I work a side deal to have them toss is a pound of Kona coffee!

Probably either in Nov. or Dec. When are you going? Taking a little bit of a chance with the rain season, but the prices are good that time of the year.

We're planning on July. I want to go during spring break when our daughter is out of school. But hubby wants to spend two weeks, not one.

If we end up going before you, I'll let you know where the orchid nurseries are and which ones are good on the Big Island.
