Exclamation new dendrobium dying help

Hi, i posted previously saying i got a white and purple dendrobium, hopefully someone can identify it, and its also dying for some reason. Im watering it fine, its in the sun, its not getting sunburned, but the flower buds are green, then they shrivel and turn pink, and fall off, i dont understand whats going on. hopefully some pics of this will help.
ps. there is also some very small areas under the leaves that are like black spots, but they are very tiny and will not clean off.

hmm, well what's in those pictures is a phalaenopsis. looks like a hybrid in the brother gemstones/leopard prince family. and what you got there is bud blast. sometimes it just happens. can be because it's been moved, could be a temperature thing. otherwise the plant looks fat and happy so i wouldn't worry about it.

other folks will no doubt weigh in if they see other problems....

the most impressive thing is when a phal in high bud gets taken outside into the cold (like to a car) and then brought back in; all the buds can shrivel up and fall off within a day or so.

Don't leave it in the sun or you're phal is going to end up with some nasty sunburns.

Smile LOL same thing just happened to me!

I found this site because of my flower buds also shrivling up.I just moved the flower to the kitchen cuz I was thinking it would do better there. My bedroom gets cold sometimes and not alot of light in the winter so when I moved my passion flower downstairs and saw how well it did I moved my orchid also. The first two buds have not fallen off but the baby buds did (2).So maybe if I just leave it alone no more buds will fall off the newly grown branch?I was also freaking out!

I join to those who say keep your phal away from direct sunshine and...be patient - hopefully new buds will grow.I have myself 2 new, a little bit abused phals which lost several buds, and since they are in my care, started new ones.
Good luck.Aniko.
P.s.
You said something about black spots.Well, if they are not growing, I think, it's nothing to worry about.
