Hello,
I have grown orchids in the past, but lost my entire collection a few years ago during a move. Recently i was browsing through orchid auctions on ebay and i decided to get back into orchids. I have ordered some orchids that should get here in the next couple of days. I joined this forum to use as a reference for any orchid issues that come up. I will probably not post very much, but i do enjoy reading other peoples posts.

I was looking through the forums, and i see that there is a Hybrid Orchid project going on. Is that something that i could get involved with, and if so what would i need to do?

I too had abandoned my orchids earlier in life. Those were the worst years...

I lost plants, also- Not orchids, but plants I really cared about. I've only been involved with orchids a short time but i am totally addicted. Good to have you with us, and sure you can join in the project! We're all ordering the Den. Cathy Beck as a plant to compare- Many of us have bought more of different types, too!
