| I have 4 Oncidiums 3 phalaenopsis and 2 dendrobiums that will not flower! I keep them dry in winter but still no luck, my phals, lol, after flowering the stem dries up, so , I`m not having to much luck at the moment. I live in cheshire uk. I`m not giving up. No pics yet but im working on it. |

| Here is a good site that can give you basic culture information for your types of orchid. AOS | Home It may be that your orchids are not getting enough light for blooming. Phal spikes are supposed to dry up after the blooms die off, so you didn't do anything wrong. A little more information on where you grow your plants, i.e. windowsill, outdoors, southern exposure versus northern type iof nformation will help us help you. | I grow my phals in a greenhouse about 6+4feet, its heated to about 55-60c. i have to use shading now the sun, when it comes out, is getting stronger. i used to grow cactus in it, with a bit more success I might add, I needed a change. |
