Just joined so I'm introducing myself. I have been growing orchids for about 15 years now but I am by no means an expert. I am hoping to expand my knowledge on this site.

Hi, and thanks for the welcome.

I have mostly Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium Hybrids with some Paphiopedilums, Cymbidiums and Lycastes and have been pretty succesful in growing and flowering these. Am now looking to expand into other species and hybrids and would welcome advice from others as to what they reccomend.

Hi Purplefraise and welcome to the forum! I to would like to know what kinds of Lycastes you are growing and how you are growing them. I have been interested in one specific Lycaste (longipetela) and I'm contemplating my chances with it.
