| Hi and welcome to the forum Marih. Where abouts in S. Africa are you located? Would love to visit there as well. Please post a pic of your 'chids when you can. Phal. type Dendrobiums I have no problem with. Nobile types on the other hand, they are still all alive, but I haven't mastered the blooming of them yet.

| Hi everyone. All my orchids is in my kitchen 'cause it's got the most light and have afternoon sun coming through. At the moment it's the best place for them (Small Flat). Moving soon so I hope I can find a place with the best lighting for them. At the moment I live in Johannesburg and the air can be a bit dry so I spray all my orchids once a day. Is that ok? |

| Hi, I'm a newbie here myself, I don't know whether this helps at all but I have a Dendrobium Kingianum Alba which has flowered for the last 5 years. I was told to keep it dry from December to April and only start watering again once I saw new growth. You don't specify if you are doing this, as if the plant is not rested it will not flower. Regards L. |
