Hello from Hilliard, Ohio

Hi,
I just found this web site because I am trying to find out what is wrong with my orchid. I received a "BALDAN'S KALEIDOSCOPE" for Christmas. It has 3 leaves, two stems, and HAD flowers on the stems. In less than two months, the flowers are all gone. I need any help I can get, because this is my first orchid, and I don't really want to give up on them.

Welcome to the forum phyllispep! Do you know what kind of orchid you have??? I think it is probably a Phalaenopsis, but a picture would help once you can post. (after five posts from you) Flowers on Phals usually last one to three months and then will not bloom until the following year. To get you started, here is a link to Phal culture so you will know how to care for your plant.

Hi & welcome to the forum, Phyllispep!

I agree with Jenny. It sounds like your blooms are at its end. However, when you can, please post a pic of your orchid so we can give you better diagnosis.

Welcome! Nothing lasts forever! If you take care of it, it will bloom again! Can you post any pictures? Glad you found us. Good luck.
