I became addicted to orchids about 2 years ago............my older sis who lives in Florida got me started...............I now have approx. 30. I have learned a lot in two years but have many many questions...........I love this site and am looking forward to asking questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the welcoming notes!!! I am so excited about this site!!! Several asked what kinds of orchids I have.............I did do from killing my 1st beautiful Phal (overwatering of course) to 30 plus currently in just two years. I have several Phals, Catts, Ascndas, Dens, two Paphs, 1 Vuyl........................all in my bedroom in a south sliding glass door because it is below 25 outside!! My husband thinks I have gone NUTS............but the explanation is simple........I am just addicted to orchids!!!!! j
