New here, but not to orchids

Hello! I found this place with a Google search. I am also a computer geek, so I really liked the name. I am an IT student at Clover Park Tech College in Lakewood, WA. Was into orchids big time, then took some time off to go back to school and get some training. Almost through (Aug. 23 is my last day), then hopefully off to work right away to support my cats, and my computer habit, as well as my once again growing orchid habit. I am also into members of the Marantaceae, Cactaceae, as well as aroids, and whatever else tickles my fancy. I love anything with huge leaves, and at one time, one of my "cactus friends" suggested I get a machete to get into my house. I would love to return to that. And who knows? In spite of the fact that I do not drive, perhaps I will become an orchid judge yet.
