Newbee To Forum And Orchids

I live in the Caribbean Island of St Kitts and a newbee to orchids for over 1 year. Became so obsessed I could not sleep and spent every waking hour thinking about them. BecauseI live so far away it is very expensive to firstly buy them and have to pay shipping charges and customs and duty once they arrive but I have managed to get some locally and ordered some minis from as far as Hawaii. Most of what i know i have learnt from experience only and i now have approx 30 orchids in my collection. 1 phal, several dens , some cats and some I dont know what types they are but I enjoy them all and I hope to be able to get some more varieties. If any one of you happen to live in the US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rice I would love to get info on where I can get more plants to buy as the cost will be so much less so I can enjoy my new and forever love....ORCHIDS.............ORCHIDS...ORCHIDS

We have many, many orchid addicts and nobody plans on changing their habits. I am sure you will fit right in! Ask lots of questions; there is tons of knowledge on the forum and people are always willing to share.

the Carribean. I've been to several islands there including the Virgin Islands,
St. Martin, Antiqua, Barbados, and Aruba. Loved everyone of them and I'm
very envious of your living there in St. Kitts. This is a great forum with very
helpful people. Would love to see some pics of your orchids and your home
land.
