I see a couple of familiar names from what they term the "evil empire"

It's great to see a nice group of people talking orchids again. I was reading threads at a general gardening forum and was told about this one. Glad to see it.

As far as orchids go, I'm still growing in my orchidarium and still don't have enough. I'm attending the New York International Orchid Show in a few weeks as press and I hope to get some good photos and possibly make a CD-ROM of them to sell them later.

I have to get around to making a pre-order with a couple of vendors come to think of it!

Looking forward to chatting about the 'chids again.

Hi greenfreak! Glad to see you here. Sounds like a great job walking around and photographing orchids and getting paid for it. :-) Does this help you not spend money at orchid shows?

I generally limit myself to only buying orchids at the shows which is hard in itself. But I set aside money throughout the year just for that purpose. Since I'm making pre-orders, I'll know the minimum of what I'm spending beforehand. But I always come home with an impulse buy, something in bloom usually.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like a great job you got there. Love beautiful pictures since I really suck at taking them myself. Please post pics. when you get a chance of the orchids you are growing. We geeks love pictures!!!
