Hi, guys! My name is Cj and I just recently caught orchid fever anew, after losing a collection, four or five years ago. I'm 23 and in school to eventually get my PhD in psychology (specifically human sexuality and gender).

The addiction came back because I bloomed a Brassavola grandiflora... Within a week of the first flower opening, i was shopping for greenhouses.

Welcome! I wish I had the resources to work with a greenhouse, but in WI lights may be a better control for me. Glad to see another new face. Want you to know that the people here are a great resource and a wealth of information and support for you. Just ask around and you'll begin to see: the have answers.

I have a daughter getting her doctorate in psychology at UC Santa Cruz next year in a similar (gender related study) field. I have also managed to get her semi-hooked on orchids! Lots of knowledgeable people here who should be able to answer pretty much any question you may have. mike
