How many orchids do you have? What kinds?

thanks for the 'Welcome'.

From a friend I have some 50 orchids, some 20 different spezies, all from the Himalayan range.

So I started to collect Nepali orchids which are relatively easy to grow in Germany (with a greenhouse in winter).

because of my orchids have a look here.

There are another 5 or 6 species to bloom.
They are all said to be species from Nepal.

the Eria coronaria is a shy beauty.
Not obtrusive, but apologetic.

It is one of my favorites.

No wonder - this is a highly specialized collection. Only Nepali orchid species.
Therefore many beautiful "normal" orchids are missing. And all hybrids.

My collection is like a "lucky bag" for me - I wonder what surprise it will be when the next so far for me unknown species starts to bloom.
And there have still some species remained without flowering so far.
