New to the Group

Hello Everybody, I am sort of new to Orchids but not to gardening and plants. I have always been told that Orchids are very expensive and hard to care for, which I am finding out is not true. I do have a question about my user name. Is there a way I can modify it? When I was typing it in, I missed a letter.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find plenty of information and lots of friendly folks here. Today, orchids are readily available for most of us, unlike many years ago. With all the hybrid types out there now, it's easy to find orchids that fit into your growing circumstances and will do well. Let us know what kind of orchids you have.

To change your username: Go to the User settings and send a private message to fred, our administrator, and let him know of your correction.

We have no winners in the "Guess the missing letter contest", and to satisfy everyones curiosity the letter I left out is a "P". I do it all the time, I should know by now to check, but I don't. It is supposed to be Prplnoodles, it comes from a nickname that we gave to my poodle one night around a campfire in Idaho. I thought it would make a great screen name plus I knew not many people would think of something like that because it's very unusual.
