Hi from Missouri

Wanted to introduce myself. My name is Brook and I am from Missouri. I am a newbie to orchids, but have always had a green thumb.
I have 3 Ctna. Hawkinsara Sogo Doll "Little Angel", and one Dtps. Queen Beer Mantefon "Red Sky".

I am a mom 2 kids, a cashier at a gas station, and a full time student (triple major, psychology/sociology/criminology). I also am the proud mom of 4 great danes, a hamster, kitties, a fish, and my kids devil dog mutt. I researched forums online for about a week, and decided that I really wanted to be a geek (have been a geek of some kind most of my life!), so here I am.

Greetings to everyone, it is beautiful here in Missouri. We are currently mourning our outdoor plants, as we had a warm spell, then a week long very cold spell. Warm here now and humid, but many of my trees, and bushes have some pretty severe damage and I am sceptical that some of them will even have leaves any time soon. My orchids are cheering me up and giving me some hope for a pretty summer 'giggle'. Have a great day to all, and I look forward to getting to know you. Oh, and I should warn everyone the name babbling brook suits me to a tee, and I tend to go on and on, so if the posts get too long bear with me I am also an aquarius, can't help myself.

hey reen! thanks for the reply and the welcome, I scoured this place myself for about a week or more before joining, pretty sure we made a good choice!

You might check out a site called "Orchidspot." All the orchids pictured on that site are grown on windowsills by a lady who also lives in Missouri.
