I am a new member from Upstate New York.. I love gardening and plants of all kinds,indoor and outdoor.

i hope this is ok.. I have never done anything with orchids and do not yet have one,but i have a friend who does not have internet access.. I am her researcher..She was given an orchid at the end of last year..
She is having a "HELP!" moment..wondering what to do..

is it ok if i ask here?

I went to some other forums, but whenever anyone asked a question,(i only reviewed a couple, they were referred to go and read an article or a book.

Actually, i do not mind if you dear geeks refer me to an article as long as it is online and easy to understand.

i do not even have the faintest idea where to begin..

i sure hope this is ok.. i read the intro posts, and they say you are a happily helpful group ( it is all about the Orchids !)..so here is hoping.
