Hi,

I wandered onto this forum a couple weeks ago, and was happy to find a group of very friendly, knowledgeable and helpfulp people. I figured now is as good a time as any to introduce myself. My name is Kristina and I am a student at UF. I am in Gainesville when in school, and head home to South Florida during the summers.

Right now my collection is small, only a dendrobium, no-ID cattleya from my godmother, and a BC Maikai, but I'm sure it will expand once I finish school (not sure when that will be).

I look forward to meeting many of you, and learning even more about orchids than I have in the past week.

Hi Kristina..and welcome... you'll find out shortly how helpful everyone is in this forum..masters and beginners alike. Like Sharyn said, ask lots of questions and you'll soon find yourself mastering the art of orchid growing , be prepared, though, to take a plunge into the world of orchids..once you're there, theres no coming back ! It's wonderful.
