New in SW Florida

I am new here and am really enjoying this board. There is such a wealth of information and it is quite active!

I received a Phal as a gift two years ago from an aunt and I promptly killed it, but that started my love for orchids. I recently have purchased a few orchids and am hoping for great success. This time I am trying to educate myself and do it correctly!

Because I live in SW Florida, I am planning on keeping them on my lanai. I have purchased some phals, dendrobiums, cattleya and vandas. I figure I will see how everything does and go from there. I realize there are different requirements for each specific type and am going to try my best.

You all seem like a great group of people and I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.
