New to the Board.

Wow I can't believe I found this site.I have been looking forever for a forum that has honest to goodness people to talk to about Orchids..I have a few now and would like to invest in a few more..The ones I have I have had for some time and all are doing quite well. So far I have only managed to kill 1 and I know what I did wrong there. I will be reading this forum very often and it is nice to know that if I have trouble I know where to turn.. Welcome Kinnika. And welcome too to Mike. This board may seem a little slow, but I, for one, check it everyday and am happy to give input on any question. I have been growing for many years, but I have to warn you that I am no Phal expert, I leave that to Jerry, though I think I have found my two worst Phal mistakes and will probably do more with them in the future. Cynthia and Bluemoon: Thanks for answering me and letting me know I wasn't talking to myself. Cynthia I can tell already I will be tapping into your knowledge..I have 6 Phals,a Cat and a few others and so far they are doing good. The Phals right now are all in bloom or all have spikes so I guess they are all happy.I really want to get into the hanging ones but will wait for awhile yet until I can find a decent supplier for them.
