Hay!
I come from Slovenia and we also love orchids. I have over 120 diferend orchids in my house, and few of them are also paphiopedilums.

WOW! Wonderful pics/blooms. If you can please post the names of your plants when you can - so we can try to find like or similar plants here in the states when we see something we are especially fond of. Yes - thanks for sharing. Do you grow in a greenhouse environment?

If I grow them a greenhouse environment? No. I grow them in my house. Orchids are on every windovsill and they seem to like it.

Which is your nearest city? In Slovenia I live near Celje (the third largest city in Slo, but in Evrope I live "near" Zagreb or Wiena).

Would like to learn a little about Slovenia?? Hmmm... What can I say. 24465 km2, 2 mio people, we have sea, mountains ...
There are about 76 species and subspecies of wild orchids growing in Slovenia. You can see them on http://www.gpa.si/orhideje/index1.html
