Hi from beautiful Hervey Bay Queensland Australia. As a new resident to this area I look forward to being able to finally grow orchids. The area I came from experienced temperatures in the mid 40s for weeks on end, making the cultivation of species other than cacti very difficult. I find your info and experiences facinating. Looking forward to learning lots. Col.

I assume you mean 40s C ?

I tend to convert to degrees F for our American counterparts.

Anton, I've been wanting to say...thanks for converting C to F degrees. I also assume that you convert measurements, like centimeters to inches. If only the rest would do the same (counting myself...I try, but often forget

) in this forum.
