| Hello nice to meet you all Nice forum - Wonderful job! I'm Gloria from freezing Canada. I'm very new to orchids, Got my first this year for easter - The name " Yellow orchid" Okay it had NOID but i loved it. Took it home and a few weeks later found TONS of bugs, From spider mites, scales and mealies, it was also very soaking wet the darn thing took almost 3 weeks to get dry which was when i seen all the freeloaders & the root rot. I sprayed and sprayed and watererd it too its final death I felt very bad. Way too much for a newbie to handle. Few weeks later inside a mall - there they were "ORchids" of course my eyes lite up. My husband said pick one out and try again. I was so thrilled picking out my new orchid went for the name tag - "Pink / Rose Orchid" it was another Phal with noid but too me it was beautiful. I was totally hooked on these beauties and have gotten many more since that time Nice to be here ~ Looking forward to reading your posts. |
