| My husband has no interest what so ever in orchids unless he can eat them. However, he understands what a tremendous joy they are to me, wants me to enjoy life, and never complains about the hundreds of orchids I have, the enormous amount of time I spend with them, and appreciates the fact that I always look for bargains when I buy them, even when I come home with 40 or 50 plants at a time from shows and nurseries in California. We are both truely enjoying our retirements.

| I placed a few new Dens on the stove because I'd found the ugliest bugs I'd ever seen under a microscope on one of the plants flowers, and was running out of isolation lacals and needed to rearrange. Should have seen the smile on my husband's face when he asked if I was going to cook these guys.

| Cynthia your anecdote was really cute. It made me chuckle. My husband is also very supportive of my orchid collectinig. He attends orchid society meetings with me as they serve great desserts and he can occasionally catch some ZZZ's. He'll also treat for raffles.

| My husband is supportive, too.But he doesn't like anything small and green. He's always talking to them:"Go on! Hurry! Bloom!I dump you if not..." Aniko. |

| Yeah, Joan, my husband makes the 2 hour trip to Phoenix twice a month with me, brings a book, then disappears until break time when he checks out the goodies. Amazing how he can aways tell when the break is starting, no matter where in the building he settles down.
