Welcome!!!!!!!! You can get some great deals on orchids at big box stores. I got my most recent phal (a Black Jack) at my local grocery store for under $10. Just look around and even online they have some good deals.

Hi, thanks for the info I have gone to Renningers in Mt. Dora 3 times now and have come back with some great orchids at great prices. So far they have been healthy. Also got some work tea there and am going to try it on a few plants to see how it works. Thanks again for your help

The cheapest ones to buy are usually a while off flowering size. But it is one way of expanding a collection on a budget. The flowering size ones will come at a higher price but reward you quicker with blooms. One thing to beware of - some backyarders who will sell at bargain prices could be unintentionally selling virused plants. Reputable stores generally eliminate this problem. |
