That video is a hoot! Makes me want one but I don't think with 4 cats it would work out very well. Quite a vocabulary. Live the giggle, giggle, giggle and cookie, cookie, cookie.

welcome back! Great blooms and lovely bird. Was it stressed or is it the time of the year they lose feathers?

What a lovely parrot!
I have never been successful at teaching my parakeets to talk so it always amazes me when I do hear a parrot or parakeet talk. Congratulations!

Thank you everyone!!!.
I just want you to know before you run to get a Parrot for yourself that these birds require a lot of time and attention. They truly are like little kids.

Thank you Stelios,
I don't think she is stressed. She is molting at the moment and loosing lots and lots of feathers, but she is not plucking. I adopted her just few months ago but know her since last March by volunteering in the Sanctuary. She picked me, not the other way around, so she better be happy I took her out of the Sanctuary......

Thanks Leafmite,
I didn't have to teach her....she came (I adopted her) to me as a complete package.... .
She is 10 years old and I assume her original owner taught her all these words. She has a very big vocabulary with many words and phrases. She is singing too...she loves to yodel....
I have heard that only male parakeets are able to talk, but I am not sure.
I have 2 birds. and my other Amazon doesn't talk much at all. So, not every bird has the talent.....
