So, we only apply the peroxide on the rotten roots? If we use peroxide then we don't really need to cut off the rotten roots? Rotten roots mean the mushy and hollow ones, right? Thanks!

Some of the phals that have pink, pruple, or red colored flowers usually ahve a purple-ish red-ish tint to the leaves. Its normal for them to have that tint.

Thanks for repotting info

Thanks so much for the great pictures and the step-by-step info. If nothing else, your pictures show me how bad my plants look. I haven't been in orchid mode, and 3 of them are showing the strain. I hope I have enough good roots for them to thrive, but thanks to you they now have a chance of at least surviving!

Growing Phalaenopsis Without Medium

I got rid of the potting medium and placed my Phalaenopsis in the now empty container and put the container on a beer mug to keep the balance and maintain the moisture. Other than needing to mist it more often, it's doing pretty well. My previous over-watering problem is gone forever and I can see the root condition all the time. If I need to go away for a week or so, I just water it and cover the root area with a plastic sheet and it will keep the moisture for 10 days.
