Den. Cathy Beck update

A few days ago, I noticed that the oldest leaf started turning yellow and shriveling. I decided to move my Den. Cathy Beck a few inches to the left of the windowsill so it doesn't get too much sun. I think I need to water more often as the weather has gotten warmer and a little drier the last several days.

I hope not to lose another leaf. (fingers crossed)

As long as it's an old leaf, I don't think you have to worry. I lost a leaf at the very beginning, but I have new growth now.

I have nothing new, yet. But a couple small roots are slowly getting longer and staying green at the tips.

I think I just need to water more often now.

Sound good to me. The new growth will start anytime as long as you have those juicy roots!

sandra is on a distinguished road
Arlene, this is blooming and growing season for Dends. During this time, I always lose old leaves on most of my Dends., it's a very typical pattern to see older bulbs losing their leaves, then new canes and new roots and blooms....not necessarily in that order. My CB lost it's leaves on the back cane also. I expect to see this. Don't worry because there's nothing to worry about!
