Cathy 1 week old

Well, it has been a week since I got my Cathy Beck, she is looking pretty good, lost one leaf but everything else looks OK

I look everyday and hope that there is new growth or somthing, but nothing yet!

Here she is tucked in her little pot.

Well, my little Cathy Beck is not doing much. So far she looks just the same. Here are some pictures.

Hopefully she will grow soon!

Yeah, that's one of the first symptoms. Then it gets worse and you find yourself staring almost constantly at the poor plant and almost willing it to grow.

But seriously, didn't Jerry say something about them being grown in trays and so the first growth spurt would not be for a while We can all hang in there together

I am hanging!! I saw the post where someone had a new growth on CB! I look at it several times a day, waiting for that little spark of green, maybe mine is sleeping

My new growth may have come from the quality of light. I'm in Florida after all, I'm sure our sunlight is brighter than yours in Washington. And I have my CB outside. I'm sure your growth will come soon!

I talk very nicely to her, begging her to grow!!

She also sits right next to the window, though our sunny days are not very many yet, still waiting for Spring!!!

I have additional light on her too.

update 5/14/08

Ok, so since my Cathy Beck has not been doing anything I took a peek at her roots, well, to my surprise she is growing new roots and the rest of them look pretty good.

I patted her head, gave her a drink and tucked her back into bed.

I feel a littel better, and will wait for my new growth to appear. It has almost been a month since I got her , but we are still having some dreary days here in Washington. Hopefully the sun will come out soon!
