kninum is on a distinguished road
i was not completely sure about entering the photo contest:
1) if i could use a NOID shot and
2) what level i would be considered- i have been digital less than 3 years, but have been taking photos since i was 6-7 ( so over 20 years), no courses but aware of some tricks that have got me some amazing if not unconventional shots.

in any respect my submission bumps the thread so others do not forget to submit theirs too.

yes you can enter a NOID
I would say if you read the Photography Contest Rules that will let you know what class you can enter into.

okay so i think i'll stick with Novice, if using macro bumps it to special effects, then that's fine too.....

on a side note, my camera has just given up for ghost and has decided it will no longer take pictures...it's taken 1799 pictures , it coulda at least made it to 1800 geezzz..... maybe it's a sign...........that i need a nice fancy new camera........

now if i could only get a few more flowers to shoot

tee hee......a nice fancy new camera from my hubby i did get...hooray for early XMASness! I'm thinking i might just keep him around for another 7 years
now i just have to figure out what all the buttons, dials, knobs, bells, whistles do......it's a major step-up from what i had, I'm excited and terrified at the same time. The original size of the second image is 3600x2700, basically it's HUGE......now i just need some more flowers to shoot !

since i was not able to edit my post, i made another one (not sure what i was supposed to do- both are submissions )
