| Hi Fred, Just wondering if this is possible. Could the winner also have their winning orchid picture next to their award? A thumbnail that could be clicked on so it could be viewed at a larger size. The winners from August were great but in couldn't be viewed larger and if you missed a few weeks like I did because I was on vacation then you would still be able to see the larger pictures. Just a thought. NancyG |

| I think I have two plants that will qualify, maybe a third, its taking some time to grow. The stem is maybe 50cm high and is finally starting to bud. |

| I make mine 900 pixels on the longest dimension, by 120 dpi resolution injpg format if I post directly from here in the forum. If you start up a Photobucket account, you actually get larger dimensioned images to show up by making a link to that image in Photobucket from where you Manage Images here in the Forum. Fred has info on how to do it.

| Thanks Tom, it also has a feint pink tinge to the centre of the petals too. It's a shame I don't have the ID. It was the firs orchid I bought for myself (the first was an Xmas gift). I bought it from Ikea and it has always had an enormous number of flowers (fifty this time round). The Camera is a Fuji FinePix S5700 - not what I went out to buy, but was newly released and a lot of camera for the money so went home and did a bit of research before buying. I previously had a point and shoot Canon A40 (and still have it ) but wanted something with a bit more zoom. Still trying to find time to read the 178 page manual, but the basics are good enough for now. The camera has 7.1 mega pixels and 10x optical zoom and "no" I'm not thinking of producing any posters, but it's just nice to have it. Last edited by tizzycat; 09-15-2007 at 07:32 AM. | Fifty flowers WOW That camera sounds abit out of my league, but i will have to get a digital SLR at some point. |

| Tom the camera I set out to get WAS a digital SLR in fact an XT rebel. This is not an SLR, but it is much lighter than the XT which means I cart it all over with me, very neat and light. http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...A3P5ROKL5A1OLE I cant believe how much they have come down mine was £200 in May of this year. |
