Being my first paph bloom i can't stop drooling over it myself LOL. As with all of my photos the original image is HUGE (3648x2736, poster sized) and i am currently using it for my desktop background.

of course my Ho chi minh bud is also starting to open, which must have made Chet jealous because her second bud just racked open yesterday..........so there is a really good chance you'll be seeing more of Chet very soon

It is Phal. lueddemanniana 'Woodlawn'. I am IN LOVE with that Phal. It gave me one bloom, and has also started a brand new spike for me too

Is it OK to reenter one from a previous month? (that wasn't picked, of course)
The photos have become so stunning, I really can't compete. But I'll keep snapping away!

How do you insert images onto the actually post, instead of adding as an attachment? I have muddled around a few times but can't seem to get it. All that comes up is something that says to add the URlL of ur pic, but it is in my computer files.

You can re-enter if you want! You've taken some great shots! Don't give up! It's just for fun, and it's great to enter so we can have a nice thread to drool over each month!!

to get a larger image i upload to a site like imageshack copy the url then use the "insert pic" button in the post msg window, just paste the url in the pop-up window.

i try to keep large images to a max of 800pix (usually 500-700) in either direction.....too big will cause loading issues for some folks

at least that's what i do

you can register with photobucket for free ( Image Host )
you can upload your photos from your PC into photobucket once the photo is uploaded you place the mouse over the photo a menu will drop and you then left click the [IMG] code that will copy the code then go back to the forum open the page for the Text ( Reply Post ) or ( New Thread ) then right click in the Text space of the post then click Paste.
that should add the [IMG] code in your post you can click Preview Post to see your photo then if you are happy with what you wish to post click Submit Post or Submit Reply.

just a word of caution do not delete the picture in the Image Host as that cancels the photo from being shown on the forum also

Milties are awesome, huh? My house smells SO GOOD! Who needs plug in air fresheners, when you have Miltoniopsis in the house? I have a little one that's about to open any day, too. I got it last summer from Carter and Holmes. Haven't seen it in bloom yet.
It's a seedling from a cross. Miltonia- Avranches 'Bullseye' x Milt. Anne Port 'Pink Satin Doll' I'll post a pic. when it opens!
