That's what I think, too, but was hoping they were prices
At least it would be good to clarify so that the seller doesn't get innundated with PMs of people wanting to buy a nice plant for $1!

Well, Patti, I got like 20 different orchids from San Gabriel (California) last month. Naked roots and looking rather bad. But they got through to me with no problem and some of them are blooming right now -- when the flowers are open, I'll post some photos of them.

Should I send them to the CITES as well?

I guess anyone can send everything. What's important is how you fill in the form. Pen pushers tend to watch that carefully.

Let's hope Jbijio is not a bureaucrat

I have had many requests for plants from members outside the USA. CITES regulations (which I don’t agree with) require permits which I do not wish to deal with and as such I will only ship with in the USA. Sorry
Joe

Joe

I was wondering about the Bulbo. Star of Sumatra..can it grow in a pot or does it need to be mounted? Does it have a "stinky" fragrance? Is it hard to grow?

Thanks, I don't have any Bulbo's but maybe??

It should be grown in a net pot or mounted the flowers are very pretty and don’t smell they need med light and steady moisture but not soggy. All in all rather easy

Joe did specify what the red numbers are in his initial post.

That's an edit. Originally only the red numbers were there, no prices.

Received today. Repotted and ready to grow. Thanks Joe!

Joe, aside from what I've read, any additional growing tips that you can pass along?

Bulbophyllum Star of Sumatra (echinolabium 'Stinky' x sumatranum 'Tiger')
Bulbophyllum ramosii

Aaron, I thought of you when I read, 'Stinky'

Solay, how cool, you're getting a Sumatra too! Post pics when you get it!

Hi happy you like them Sumatra likes mid level light and to stay moist but not soggy should be only grown in basket or net pot.
ramossi like to be almost dry before watering same light level. I have a ramossi that has overgrown a 4 inch basket in two years!
