This is a new business, so I'm just starting to have people ordering from the website and am still building my inventory. In fact, I will be shipping out the first orders next Monday. I buy plants only from growers with a good reputation, take excellent care of the plants while they are in my own growing facility, pack them carefully to ship, and guarantee all plants to be healthy at the time of shipping. My goal is to build my online business, so I will do my best to provide excellent service. As an introductory offer, if you order and recommend the web site to another customer who orders, you will receive a free plant of your choice. I know there are a lot of vendors out there, but I still think there's a need for one that keeps costs down for the small-time hobbyist on a budget.

I just want to clarify that my site is NOT (repeat: NOT!!!) 1-888-orchids which was posted in this thread by mistake. Online "florists" such as that one are definitely not the place to order orchids or any other plant, for that matter.

I do answer e-mails and phone calls, try to pack plants so that they are fully protected, and label the package clearly. You would have to order a lot of plants from me to run up an $80 bill!

And Rainy, you'll be receiving your plants sometime next week. I hope you will enjoy them.

I went to this site and clicked on product overview and there is nothing on that page and none of the links work on that page. If these people bought then how did they see what they were buying??

Soltrad and WWW.villagenterprises has nothing to do with the original poster and all of the postings up to this point. None of us have yet to be able to find any orchids on his site, and I am quite sure nobody from this forum has ever bought from him, or we would have heard a report of it in a long thread that he started a while back. However, time will tell what he does with his site. Cynthia

No, Orchidfinders and villagenterprises are 2 different places. Orchidfinders is a legitimate source that helps you find orchids.

Villagenterprises is the rather wacky website of a person from Honiara, in the Solomon Islands who promises non-existant orchids. The site advertises mainly tourist kitsch.

haven't ordered anything from orchidfinders, but the various plants are intriguing and the prices seem quite reasonable. however, for those lacking in patience, be careful--most of the plants advertised seem to be quite small. ie a standard size cattleya in a 2 inch pot...could be 3-5 yrs before blooming.
